SHIPPING POLICY

SHIPPING METHODS AND COSTS

- We deliver to more than 100 countries around the world, and offer different shipping options as applicable. Please get in touch with us if you are not able to place an order to your country or city.

SHIPPING RESTRICTION

Any items notified by our courier companies to be restricted and/or banned and/or prohibited from time to time (including but not limited to animals, bullion, currency, bearer from negotiable instruments, precious metals and stones, firearms or parts thereof and ammunition, human remains, pornography and illegal narcotics/drugs).

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Order cut-off times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of placing the order. We are not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes. We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.

 

For all deliveries, a porch or door delivery without signature may be done. This is in line with international standards of shipping. We do not necessarily require a signature for goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to You. If You have specified a third party recipient for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then You accept that evidence of a porch delivery at the address given (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfilment by Us of Our obligation.

 

WHEN DO WE DELIVER

We mention delivery times on all our products. Lehengas and gowns generally take 1-3 months and other category products anywhere between 1 week to 4 weeks. All domestic orders will take about 3-5 days for delivery from the date of dispatch. International orders take a minimum of 7 days for delivery from the date of dispatch. Further information on the order status can be provided by our customer care upon request.

 

FREE SHIPPING

Free shipping is offered to only customers in India.

 

TAXES & DUTIES

For Indian Customers

Product Prices displayed are inclusive of all taxes and duties.

 

For International Customers

Most countries are shipped to on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, which means product prices displayed are exclusive of all import duties. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are in, payment of these at the time of delivery is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. REFUNDS, RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

The terms set out herein shall form an integral part of Our Terms and Conditions which You may access here. You acknowledge that these terms of returns and exchange are limited to direct sale by Us to You and that these terms of returns and exchange are not available in case of a sale by a third party. These terms apply for all modes of purchases made from Us on the Site, social media platforms, WhatsApp or any other online mode of communication through Our customer relations executives or at Our stores. All purchases from our stores shall also be subject to the terms and conditions specified on Your purchase receipt / invoice and to the extent that the said terms are inconsistent with the terms mentioned herein, the terms mentioned in Your purchase receipt / invoice shall prevail.

 

Refunds & Returns

Refunds will be made only in accordance with the terms herein and to the original mode of payment. Such refunds would be processed within 5-7 working days of the acceptance for refund request in case the product has not been delivered to You and within 5-7 working days of receipt of product by Us in case the product had already been delivered to You.

Goods once sold can only be exchanged for replacement or returned along with the original invoice for refund, provided they meet Our terms and conditions.

No refunds or exchanges are available on lehengas category, and all products which are customized (including size customizations)

All exchanges, including change of size are subject to availability and Our specific confirmation.

Any product exchanged once will be considered as customized and not be eligible for further exchange.

In case of a refund or exchange, a restocking fee will be charged @15% of the MRP of the product.

Since We keep limited inventory and do not have all sizes available at all times, if the request for exchange cannot be processed, the store credit may be provided in accordance with the terms herein.

Store credits issued against refunds will be valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issuance.

All conditions applicable to the return of goods shall also apply to the exchange of goods.

A product once delivered can be returned or exchanged, unless it is a lehenga or a product with any type of alteration/customization. Returns and exchanges are not available for international orders.

Any request for return/exchange must be placed by You within 24 hours of delivery by Us. No requests placed beyond this period would be entertained.

Standard sizing of products may vary from brand to brand and we recommend You to place an order on the basis of our size chart. We will not be liable to accept any return of standard sized products on the ground that the sizing does not meet Your expectations / requirements.

A product returned to Us as per these terms, can only be exchanged for another product or refund. Refund will be given upon receipt of product by Us and upon confirmation by Us that the product is in fact exchangeable / returnable as per these terms.

Products will be considered for exchange or return only if it is unworn and in perfect condition, and with all tags still attached. Products that are damaged, soiled or returned without their original labels may not be accepted and will be sent back to You.

Where provided, belts and any designer packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags, and leather tags should be included with Your return/exchange.

Unidentified returns may be returned to the sender.

Any product identified as non-returnable, non-refundable or non-exchangeable at the time of purchase will be deemed to be so.

There will be no refunds for orders to which any kind of discounts were applied. For the purposes of these terms, “discount” includes a sale (including EOSS), discount/offer code or coupon.

Goods are faulty if they are received damaged. Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. If You would like to exchange a faulty item instead of obtaining a refund, please be aware that We can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. Where possible, We will offer to repair faulty items.

All custom-made orders are non-returnable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable. For detailed description of what includes custom made, please refer to [link]

In case of any return/exchange, the shipping charges for sending the product to Us will be borne by You.

If an order has more than five products then it will be considered as a bulk order. Return/refund for such orders would not be possible.

Discounted product(s) or orders placed using loyalty points or promotional gift vouchers cannot be returned or exchanged. In case of payments made via an online mode, You will opt for a chargeback only if (i) You are eligible for a refund as per these Terms; and (ii) despite being eligible, We have been unable to refund such monies to Your account within the timeline set out herein.

 

Cancellation

We shall not be able to accept any cancellation if Your order/has been processed.

As also provided in our terms and conditions, in case of requests for order cancellations, We reserve the right to accept or reject such requests. As part of usual business practice, if We receive a cancellation notice within 24 hours of placing the order, we could cancel the order and refund the entire amount. If Your order is duly cancelled, the amount paid by You will be reversed to your account within 5 to 7 working days of receiving your bank account details for such reversal. We cannot process a cash refund under any circumstances. We will not be able to cancel orders that have already been processed (including cases where the order has been processed within the first 24 hours) or orders for which cancellation request is received after the expiry of the first 24 hours from placing the order. We have the full discretion to decide whether an order has been processed or not. You agree not to dispute the decision made by Us in this regard. It is clarified that after the expiry of the first 24 hours after placing the order, You would not be entitled to cancel the order and receive a refund.

To cancel, return or exchange an item, the Customer must write to us at contact@amaltascouture.com. Alternatively, the customer may even call at our customer care number +91 – 9205966347. We are not liable for any damages caused to the product during transit from Customer to Us. For products sold in store, Customer may visit the store as well, provided the same is done within timelines set out in the terms.
